Early bath
I was not present for the game verses Vardre as i had other engagements and its not to be disclosed due to my embarrassment!! So the match report this week will be a brief summary of the day which was re-laid back from my fellow com-padres. We arrived in confident mood buoyed from our win the previous week and took a decent squad over to the Swansea Valley. Unfortunately Vardre weren't as strong and had a bare 15 and no front row so our Nemesis passive scrums had to be implied. Not that this had any effect on the half as we were rampant behind and our backs were fully in control. Leading the way was centre Andrew Holloway who terrorised the vardre defence for the first 30 mins cutting through at will with his strong running and scoring 3 tries in the process. Full back Joe Spencer also got in on the act scoring 2 for himself one an excellent long range effort. Bryn Davies converted all 5 of the tries. Half time score Seven Sisters 2nds 35 Vardre 0. There were a few rumblings from the Vardre team during the closure of the half as to even at that stage to call the game off, so having a full 40 for the second half seemed highly unlikely and after centre gareth durham stormed over 10 mins into the half and coupled with the opposition dropping like flies they duly surrendered and the contest was over. Final score Seven Sisters 42 - Vardre 0. It was a bit disappointing but again we have conceded 0 points for the second successive week which is an impressive stat. With that behind us, already the game against Pontarddulais has added significance with both unbeaten a top of the table clash awaits both teams next sat to which we are really looking forward to.
