Lacklustre Seven put to the Sword!

Disappointing defeat on our own patch!

Seven never really got going in this local derby in what was without doubt their worst performance of the season. As much as Trebanos played well nobody could argue how much the home side contributed to their own down fall. A very high error count gifted the away side 3 early tries along with a few others in the second half. In fairness to the boys with ball in hand in the 1st half Seven looked dangerous when keeping hold of the ball scoring a cracking try with another try going begging due to a professional foul 5 yards from their line with a try the only outcome, bizarrely this went unpunished by the ref which turned out to be the trend of the day with Trebanos being allowed to have a field day in the rucks. With that being said this didn't gift them 38 points and the boys do not blame any body other than ourselves at the performance and fully accept that Trebanos were by far the better side on the day and fully deserved their big win.

Some harsh, honest words were said after the whistle and everybody is aware that this level of performance is not good enough for this Club. A big week of training ahead with the absentees from this game back available with everyone ready to make up for it next week in what will be a massive test against Builth Wells away.

A side note to everybody that was measured for kit in pre-season, the kit is being picked up tonight and will be handed out tomorrow after training.
